Level up with our Salsa focused Essentials Course over 2 weeks - $125 (2 × 2hr workshops)
The Everglades - 9 Dunban Road, Woy Woy
This course is for those who have completed our Intro to Latin Dance OR the Salsa Package, or for those who have been dancing for some time and would like to join our Level 2 class.
It is also suitable for experienced dancers (no longer taking classes) to refine/refresh your skills.
Our Salsa Essentials classes are using basic steps (and a few new ones) to teach 5 fundamental techniques that will turn your 'steps' into 'dance', and give you a checklist for learning and refining more complex moves.
Our instructors will take you through each technique step by step in a fun and safe environment.
As with our other classes we will rotate partners throughout the class so there is no need to BYO.
Once you have paid for this course, you can repeat it as often as you’d like at no extra cost.
These classes will introduce you to a few new steps and techniques involving turns. While it’s not necessary to purchase ‘dance shoes’ you will need footwear that allow your foot to pivot freely, and protect your knees. Talk to us if you have questions on that topic.
