Sensory Friendly – Support Class for Absolute Beginners
Duration: 3 Weeks (3 × 45 min classes)
Designed with absolute beginners and neurodivergent participants in mind, this course offers small class sizes to create a comfortable level of social interaction in a safe and inclusive environment.
The pace is intentionally slower to allow time to understand and practice each movement with confidence.
In this course, you’ll begin with a simple and energetic dance called Merengue, before progressing into the basics of Bachata and Salsa over the 3 weeks.
Course Features:
Solo dancing (no partner required)
Option to bring a partner or support worker at no additional cost
Supportive, inclusive environment with a focus on fun and positive learning
Comfortable clothing recommended
Extended Option: A 1-5 week version (when available) introduces partner dancing in Weeks 4 & 5.
