KIDS Ballroom | Woy Woy | 4.45pm Tuesdays from 29 April | Ages 7-15
Ballroom dancing for Kids comes to the Central Coast! Join us on Tuesday nights at The Everglades for a fun introduction to the world of Ballroom dancing for children aged 7-15.
This 45min class will engage your child in a range of styles and activities including:
Standard Ballroom: Waltz & Quick Step
Latin Ballroom: Cha Cha Cha, Jive & Rumba
New Vogue: Gypsy Tap & Merrylin
Each term runs for 4 weeks with a mini social dance twice each year.
Ballroom dancing is a wonderful alternative to team sports. It is energetic, structured, and designed to provide children with the building blocks to develop their dancing further. Our classes facilitate social engagement and provide students with physical skills that build confidence.
Friendships, confidence & well-being!
…And for the parents: Enjoy a quiet meal from the great selection available onsite at Nine Restaurant or Vibes Cafe, OR
Choose from one of our other classes and create a new family activity.
4.45pm Intro to Latin Dance - a 5 week course teaching the basics of Salsa & Bachata
5.30 Adults Beginner Ballroom - 2 dance styles each week (Standard & Latin)
Partners dance at no extra cost & bundled prices are available for registered families.
Both Ballroom classes are taught by Monica Hawton. Quite aside from being an incredibly nice person, she brings a wealth of experience to the dancefloor. Learn more here.
